A little about me:
I am the mother of a Navy Sailor, retired, now I have a 18 year old grand son, that I raised as a my own son, he has join the Navy, following in his Uncle"s footsteps, very proud of him. I love my grandson, and will miss him a great deal, but know this is what he wants, and his grand pa and I are very proud.

The Navy offers opportunities that...
that the Navy took a 18 year old kid, 25 years ago, and made him a real man, husband, father, and a dear son. I just want to say "Thank You" Now with God's Blessing, I will watch my grandson, grown the same way. We as grand parents raised him, now the Navy will groom him.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
