I like long walks on the beach, cuddling with a book and blanket... WAIT! What site is this again?! Kidding!!!! Ok back on track here....
I am 24 years old living in Fl. I knew from High School the military was something I wanted to do, but after just getting into a new relationship, I put that dream on hold. I decided I would go to school since thats what my parents and friends wanted me to do... So I went and HATED it! I want to make something of myself and serve my country while doing it (I think I poisoned my brain in HS with my military dreams lol) But now, I'm ready and until January, wasn't quite sure which branch would best suit me. I looked at the AF, but with MUCH research, the Navy has my name written all over it =)
My goal, to become a Navy EOD. Will that happen? Not sure, but only time will tell and I'm sure whatever career I get into, it will be just as rewarding as another... I'll be in the Navy serving my Country!!! What can be more rewarding than that?!
AnxiousFutureRecruit,
First off let me thank you for considering serving our country in the Navy. Personally, I think it is the best decision!! But I'm biased - I am a Navy vet, my husband is a Navy vet, and I have a son and a daughter serving. And my other daughter is putting in for the Navy officer program - BDCP.
I see you found the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you! We are a friendly group of moms who help, support and care for each other and our sailor girls!!! But we can also answer any questions you may have as you go through your journey of considering the Navy. Let us know if we can help you!!! And again - Welcome Aboard!!

Kayleigh and Gloria are gone from here now, but I think this applies to your friend, Yamilet Peterson. How do you know her? Has she written you something? There are many more moms that you could be friends with that are real people.
My apologies in the delay in getting back to you. Thank you for the friend request. My N4M "addressbook" – is still acting stupidly. When I select a friend to send a message, the person I checked is not always the person who receives the message. I just made my profile page viewable by any N4M members. Please feel free to leave me a message on my profile page and I’ll comment back. Typically, private messages are use for communicating issues that are more personal in nature. Let me know if you have something more private to talk about. Talk to you soon. BunkerBee.
