Hi samanthaRae,I have a million questions! Lol. First, what is this #thing everyone is talking about?--ppl have said "my sailor is going to 3" or "5" or whatever-in regards to new duty station after decommission I think??? How will my husband get that info?  Also, where are u living?--we have been told to try to live in base housing in camerillo(sp?)And then do u feel supported out there while he is deployed? We r in a very tough situation---we have a 6, 2.5 and 11month old and I am very ill. (I have Lyme disease w co infections, POTSyndrome and adrenal fatigue along w vit/min deficiencies---all of which were only finally diagnosed recently---while my husband was a boot camp actually! Ugh. I am struggling to care for our young family while undergoing treatment and not having my husband here. I need to do IV meds(w a picc line in my chest! Yikes!) and we have been putting it off thinking I could begin when we got to our first real duty station and were together. But now he is deploying(we don't even know how long) and I am not sure how I will just manage the day to day, never mind IV treatments!). Even if I was healthy I'd still feel very overwhelmed right now. I know nothing about the navy. I know they have classes to help prepare u for your spouses deployment, what to do to prepare, how to cope, what resources are avail, what to expect, etc... But I am not there to go to any classes. I know I need a POA---that is the only thing someone has told me. Otherwise I am clueless. Sounds like ur husband is already deployed?--where to? (I understand they r all going to diff place rt?). Do u have children?  Where r u from orig? How long have u been in PH and how long has ur husband been in the navy? What is his rate? My husband is ISSoooo anything u can tell me about this 40 group thing :) would be great and ESP anything I should know about deployment and info about decommissioning and port H in general. Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out---I really appreciate it!Devon

Thx! So my husband spoke to someone (sponsor maybe?) and they told him he will get his orders for after decommission about 6 months b4---which he said would be like march--does everyone else already seem to know?  This is so frustrating!  Send me a personal message if u can since I can't seem to send one to u--not sure why??  Thx
