My son's name is Drew, too. And he is my best friend. I really miss him. He and I share a love of music and I miss him being here to say hey, Mom, I bet you will love this song, come and listen, I made you a cd, etc....I told him besides me that music would be what he missed most... and in his letter he said, Mom you were right!! I miss you and music. He says when they are yelling in his face he just phases out to one of his favorite songs and it gets him thru it. But he sounded so upbeat and says its not as bad as he expected it to be. I hope he is still saying that at week 4 or 5. Hang in there. Our boys are tough.

Hi Lori. Nice to see someone one here from Colorado. We are in Olney Springs in the Ark Valley. Small little farm town of just about 300. My son is Nick and he left Denver on Sept. 15. I was not able to see him off at meps but really wish I could have. Are you going to PIR? I can't wait to see Nick. It has been so long. Never gone this long without talking to him.

Have you ever heard of Fowler or Ordway? If so, we are in between those two towns. It will be very nice to meet you. Not much longer now.
