Hi! My name is Paula.  My son, Nick PIR 8/17 and is ready to start Corpsman classes Wednesday.  I see you are in PA too!  We live about 30 miles from Hershey :)  I am so happy BC is over and I can talk to Nick almost whenever I want!  Nick loves it in San Antonio so far.  He had liberty this weekend and was exploring with some friends.  Good Luck to your son and welcome to the group.

Hi Donna!  So far Nick has done nothing much, which after BC he loves!  His classes are supposed to start this Wednesday.  From what Nick tell me, he has class from 8-3 everyday.  He first asked for jeans and tee shirts, so I sent them and some snacks for his room.  Now he asked for shorts!  Seems they earn the "privilege"  of wearing civilian clothes.  Other than that, I know he has guards alot right now.  But once school starts it should be once every 3 weeks
