Navy wife of (many) years; mom and mom-in-law of two in the Navy. Mom of former Marine.
I am here to support my
Spouse/Significant other
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Officer
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Maintain a sense of humor and realize the needs of the Navy come before my personal needs. My job is to help my husband (and daughter and son-in-law) focus on their jobs.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! I'm glad you found us. Come join the chat in our group - there is usually someone on every day. We are a friendly, caring group of moms who have daughters in all stages of Navy life - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! I have a son who was stationed at Oceana for 4 years and recently transferred back to Norfolk. I'm looking forward to getting to visit again soon!!! I also have a daughter who was just commissioned an Ensign out of OCS. She's in Pensacola for flight training. Where is your daughter and what does she do? We support all our sailor girls and each other as well. We look forward to getting to know you and your sailor!! Again, welcome aboard!!!!
I so agree - our girls do have some challenges and it is good to have other moms to share our joys and trials with. And with your experience you have a lot to offer to our new moms who know nothing about this roller coaster ride!!! How does your daughter like San Diego? My husband and I are also veterans and we were both stationed at NAS North Island. What does your daughter do?
Congratulations to your husband and thank him for his service!!!
