    Thank you for the friend request...My son's name is Cory and he is my youngest.  The very first week was hard for me.  It has gotten easier but I can't wait for PIR to see him again.  Glad to be able to connect with other moms on here.  My best wishes to your son and the rest of your family.

Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) beginning with OPSEC and PERSEC (MakingChanges To Your Profile); you may want to make changes 3 and 4. Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted". What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
