Hi csingl504. Welcome to your Navy family. We have all experienced what you are going through. I cried like a baby when my son left for boot camp. Now I look forward to hearing about all his adventures in the Navy.

Once your daughter is out of boot camp. You won't feel so isolated from her. She will be able to call you often.

There are some wonderful veteran Navy moms on this site. These veteran Navy moms were so much help to me while my son was in boot camp two years ago. My son entered boot camp June 15, 2010.  My son had a hard time with the running part of the PFA due to blisters on his feet. (and not being prepared physically before entering).

His Chief RDC (Recruit Division Commander) pushed him to the limit so he would pass. All of the RDC's are very dedicated to their Recruits success in boot camp. They go out of their way to help them achieve their goals.

If you have any questions or concerns.  Please feel free to ask me. You can send via personal message if you like or on my page.

    Sandy:)

Just dropped in to say hi and see how you are doing?  Have you sent her a calling card from calls for recruits.org it's free to her and you.
