  Hi, from Oakland, CA. My letter just came and my son in in Ship 2 Div 909 also. Yeah, PIR January 21, 2011. My son is older: 32. He made his decision and I am proud. I have no tears because he is already been making his decisions and living on his own. A MOM still roots for her son though and now I can root for Ship 2 Div 909 and your son !!!! :)

  The cat is Chewbaca who was born in 1992. He is 18 years old and is my son's buddy and is living with me now. 18 in cat years is 88. Hope I look that good at 88! ha Well we are sissy when it comes to snow. My son flew to BC from Maui in flip flops, shorts and a tee shirt. Oh, I pray for him. His note you me was hoping I was OK and that he was OK and it is all as he had expected at BC. I hope he can keep up with the younger men. You know they are Men :)

  I didn't mean to make you cry:(   I just wanted everyone to see what a handsome grandson I have. He's such a good boy. I know he is going to do great in the navy. I am having a hard time getting around this site. I guess I haven't had enough time to explore it properly. I sure am glad I got such a good camera and got these awesome pictures before he left. Stay strong baby girl. I love you:)
