    Welcome to NavyforMoms.com.  My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012.  He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron.  He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic.  I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

    thanks so much!  I didn't think to check for a facebook page for his class!  Great idea.  My son told me that too.  In fact, I sent 2 cards with him when he left like I used to do when he went to church camp.  He laughed but gladly accepted them.   ugh, facebook isn't loading for me right now.  I appreciate the heads up.  I will definitely go look. and, I'll be back with questions!
