He could have a taken a path that would have been bad for him and his relationship with his whole family but he chose the Navy and his family could not be more proud of him! 3 years left before he decides to continue we will see.....

Hi Ohiomom1292,
I am also from Ohio-a town called Troy, about 20 miles north of Dayton. Where is Centerburg? I think I have heard of it but can't place it. Our son is an MM/A Ganger on the USS Springfield. He just went out on his 1st 6 month deployment. Just thought I would say hey-nice to see another Mom from Ohio.

My son is stationed in Hawaii on the USS Greeneville, came back from his first deployment Dec. 2012 and spend 2 weeks with us on his leave. Dropped him off at the airport Jan. 12th and have not heard from him since, worried, but they say no news is good news. He loved his deployment. His boat is a fast attack. He is a radioman.
