When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I have not had much experience with the Navy, otherthan since I was a young girl I myself had always wanted to join, but was never confident or a good swimmer to join. But my husband has all those assests and more he is going to be a great sailor! I am very proud that he joined the Navy. The most important thing I think I can offer my husband and learned is support. As a wife I know that support and love is the best thing my sailor needs and wants.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Good morning, thanks for the add. I'm new to the military way of life too. There's also a PIR group on Facebook too for our PIR date. If you "like" the RTC navy page, they do trivia Tuesdays and if you win you get to request a pic of our husbands' division.
Have you received any letters? (other than the form letter and adopt a sailor)
I'm hoping to get one today. Fingers crossed and we got a phone call (a whole 7 minutes!!! ;) ) on Saturday.

From what we understand, yes, it's the gate on Illinois Street. He's going over a bit earlier to make sure he's in the right spot.  Have a wonderful day with your husband.  Merry Christmas.
