- A little about me:
- Here because my son is joining the navy. It would be great to "talk" to others who are going through same.
I own my own small home business selling sustainable eco friendly home products in effort to save the planet and honestly I'm a dog owner without a dog. My last dog, was everything to me and it stinks being in that in between stage of ready/not ready.
I support my sons choice 100% but it's still hard on me. I am not sure why. I totally believe I would have been totally fine if he just moved out on his own, however this navy thing just happened so fast and I have a lot of feelings about a lot of different things that I am not sure I am even allowed to talk about here.
Bottom line is, my son has chosen to serve, and if he makes it, he wants to make a career of the navy, so I figgered I had better inform myself as to what I'll be up against, what to expect, etc. My son is a *%@$#!! and getting information from him is like pulling teeth without novocaine. I hope to find all the answers and support here that I am looking for. Thank you everyone for having this space. - I am here to support my

Both of these are in locations other than on the main BC Mom group page, so I wanted you to have them here as well, since we can get pretty chatty in the group page. You did figure out how to post a comment there. It really is easier to view this site on a computer if you are able.

Just take it one day at a time. I see you have B'sNukeMom as one of your friends. I wonder if that is the friend request you noticed. Mine should be there someplace as well, but no rush. I have my own busy day as well. It takes a little bit to get use to things on here but you will get the hang of it!
