If you know your recruit's PIR date, go to http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date and join the group for that. If you don't know the PIR date, join the group, DEP-Leavin' for Boot Camp in January, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening.

Since you now have a Sailor rather than a recruit, what is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) or field going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools.

If you still have a recruit, then the 01/16/2015 PIR group is not the group for you since that PIR date has passed.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.
