    Thanks. I am glad you like the Survival Guide (clickable link) - it here on your page, so you can always refer it. If your son has not left yet, make sure he joins the NavyDep.com site (link is in the Survival Guide) - it's created and run by Craig who is former Navy and has a son in the Navy right now. Your son will have an opportunity to ask questions. Craig is extremely knowledgeable.

    My son just completed his 5 year commitment to the Navy. It seem like it was yesterday that he started.

    Well today is the day for me.  Leaving in a few minutes to watch my son get sworn in.  Excited and nervous, kept texting him last night worrying about what will happen today (he is coming down with cold) he finally told me to go to bed.  I did great yesterday but it was really hard listening to him cry as he told his sister good bye.  My heart was breaking then.  Hope things are going well for your son at BC.
