- I served in the Navy as a Mechanic and Flight Engineer for 23 years. My son joined the Navy and desires to be a Navy Corpsman and go FMF. I am so very proud of him. I also have a daughter that is currently looking at college. My husband and I were both surprised but happy when our son enlisted.
