That is great that you got his address...how did you get it so fast? I just found a post on N4M it was Fun Questionaires to send to your recruit in Boot Camp (I wasn't sure how to send it to you) but it was really cute and funny, it made me laugh I think if you do a search it you will find it. It will put a smile on your face, I will definetly print it and send it to my son once he is in BC, if anything he will get a laugh at how crazy his mom really is.
I sometimes read the posts on Leaving for BC the week of Oct 4 and my heart breaks I feel the emotions all of you are going through because I know it we be me in shortly. All of the Oct mom's are in my heart and thoughts constantly....HUGS to you...Elizabeth
Hi..sorry I haven't written in a while. You were really the only one that I was in contact with on here, and when I wrote you a couple of times and didn't hear back, I thought you must not be on anymore. Jordan is doing good. Letters are much better and best of all, my husband got to go and get him and another recruit out for Christmas day. It was a very different Christmas, but good. We Skyped alot and it was great to see and hear him. He still was not liking boot, but was alot more accepting and just ready to get on with his A school. I think that this week is the Battle Stations week. I haven't heard from him since Christmas day. I'm hoping the gas thing went ok last week for him. Ugh. I can't imagine. How is everything with your son? Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Kathy. We are just finishing up a great weekend here. Jordan's graduation was on the 14th. It was awesome. My in-laws and daughter from college were able to join my husband, son and myself for the events. It has been a great family time of playing games, watching movies and just enjoying each others company. We ended up staying at the Candlewood Suites in Libertyville. We ate out some and ate in our room alot too. We just bought groceries and prepared meals. Jordan brought 2 of his buddies to spend time with us too as their families weren't able to be here. 1 of them spent yesterday with his and the day of graduation. They are sweet guys. We are fortunate that tomorrow (Monday) is a holiday and he gets tomorrow off as well and will move on Tuesday to his A school. We will fly out tomorrow evening. He will be in GL for his A school. I will have to tell him to look for your son. What is his name? We leave Thursday for Africa. We wont be back until August, but will get to talk alot on the phone to him which will be nice. I am so glad that he will have more freedom then. Look forward to staying in touch with you. Blessings. ~ Beverly
