I figured stress fractures.. Rest, PT, hang in there is the order of the day.. 3-4 weeks probably..  again attitude to finish is everything.. Our son was at about the same spot in training..  She can make it if she has got this far!

My son stayed in RCU and did Tag-alongs with other divisions to complete his fire training, confidence course, final PFA and his Battle Stations.  He had his capping right after battle stations this past Thursday morning, then moved right over to Temporary holding Unit.

He did not have a PIR, from what I understand if they are in RCU for more than a week they will not have a PIR,  this really sucks but I see the problem in the last week prior to the PIR they are doing a lot of practice for the PIR, if you miss that you are a liability... My son said no one wanted him because he would not know the marching routine.. and they all wanted to look good. Besides, with having stress fractures, there is a lot of standing during the PIR (2+ hrs of it), not good on the legs.    I guess while we really wanted to see the PIR, we had to look at the big picture.. DONE WITH RTC!  ON TO A SCHOOL!   GOAL!   :)
