Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 3 (see the words in bold) so that this page is no longer visible to ANYONE with access to the web. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes. Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP code to one that is not easily associated with your recruit.

Since your recruit has a contract for Hospital Corpsman (HM), you may also want to Basic Medical Technician Corpsman Program Facebook Page, Corpsman Moms and Corpsmen Moms and Dads. The Rating Information Card for HM can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/hm.pdf; it indicates 19 weeks, but "A" School is 14 weeks after classing up. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend. If your Sailor is picked for the Field Medical Training Battalion (FMTB) then check out Camp Lejeune Moms, Families and Friends or Camp Pendleton corspmen and FMF Corpsman moms. (Hospital Corpsman Wives and Girlfriends!)
If your Sailor becomes eligible for SARC, check out SARC, Special Amphibious Recon Corpsman.
