Hi, "Elizabeth," and welcome to Indiana Moms! I'm the administrator for the group, so if you have any questions, please ask. My son is a Nuke MM serving on the submarine ALABAMA, based out of Bangor, WA. He's been in for five years.
Please know, there's a monthly informal dinner in Avon (on the west side) which meets on third Mondays. I'll be putting next year's dinners on the Events calendar (right-hand column) soon, so click on any 3rd Monday for those details. From time to time, we also have regional gatherings in various parts of the state.

ask your friends and family now if they can send additional mail for anyone not getting any letters at bootcamp. Tell them to put an "X" up by their return mail addy if it's mail you can pass on unopened. I wrote to 2 other recruits in our son's group almost 4 years ago--they needed a word from a friendly person.
