A little about me:
My husband and I are so proud of our youngest son Joey's decision to enlist into the US Navy. We have 3 other children who are older than Joey but Joey is our first military child. We live in Gastonia, NC. As we begin this journey we are so glad to have met you all. Especially me, because as a Mom I need all of you to help me through this. Joey graduates from High School in June and his leaves for bootcamp on August 21, 2017!

We ask that each member not use a last name in their Username, even if it differs from your Sailor's, for privacy and operations security.  Please go to “Settings” on the main page ASAP where you create a new Username, add a profile image and complete your Profile.  Thank you.

We also ask that members not post photos with visible names on uniforms.  For more, please read our Community Guidelines and this Operations Security checklist.

Jump right in!  Browse around the site and check out the groups and their Discussion Forums.

You can find and join groups for your Sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, duty station or ship and homeport.  Also find groups for your own state, region or home town, and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas.

Be sure to introduce yourself when you join a group, and feel free to ask any and all questions - we were all new to this once, too  :)  We look forward to getting to know you and your Sailor, and welcome to the NAVY family!

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 950 is Triple Threat.

Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be to know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.
