I really don't know if he requested SD for C school. Honestly, I do not know if you can pick where you want C school. He wanted to train on CIWS and he did get that. He did not want to be on the east coast since we have family in Va Beach and Chesapeake and visit their often. He will be in SD for the next four years because he DID get to pick his orders after C school.
