I have two sons and my oldest just left for the Navy. The adjustment has been a little hard on his brother and I but we are very proud of him. We miss him very much.

I saw you asked on the wall of the PIR group 1/14 when we got our call since you haven't received one yet. Don't fret! I got mine yesterday, and today marks 4 weeks that he's been gone. So it was almost 4 weeks to the day. They say "3 week phone call" but they mean 3 weeks of TRAINING, the first week is always processing. So keep your phone on you, probably this week! Have others in his division called home? It seems they call as a group.
