I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 2. We are new to military life and I'm learning so much on N4M.
My oldest son left for RTC on 9/29/14 and I couldn't be more proud; except when I see him at PIR in his dress blues; there will be tears :-)
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I'm learning everyday. This has been a growing experience for both me and my son.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

You will also want to join Parents whose Sailors are stationed at FT. Meade. You will also want to check out Fort George G. Meade, Md Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for MC can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/mc.pdf. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend.
