It is unlikely that he will remain with the Essex for his entire 4 years of active duty enlistment, but he will probably be with the Essex for his first two years or so. He should have at least one other duty assignment.

Hi Elle, wanted to see how your trip went in San Diego when your Son returned. wasnt that so exciting to see, I was able to get the web cam on my computer, seen bunker hill come in first, then the Carrier, then your Son's ship. Hope all is well and best wishes to your Son. My Son is also on Coronado he is on the Theodore Roosevelt. he just got settled into the Barracks. hope we can chat.
