I am a proud mother of a US NAVY SAILOR. My daughter is now traveling the world and enjoying herself. We all miss her like crazy.
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Were not on our time, were on the Navy's.. I've become more patient, she is my oldest out of 4 that is serving and it was very overwelming at first. But it has gotten better.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I live in North CA. My son's commitment to the Navy ends next month. Your son's is just starting out. Enjoy the ride. Good luck to your sailor recruit and please thank him for his future service. Please feel free to visit the San Francisco Bay Area Navy Families Group. (Clickable link)
Right now when we get his letter, we will be in the planning stage and the fund raising stage so we can go to his graduation. At first we were not gonna go but he kind of put us on the spot when he said see you at graduation. So, we are going to be doing away with alot of stuff we really don't need to do just so we can go. I wish there was a cheaper way to go. We have a 15 hour or more drive if we drive. Well, this is just me venting and trying to figure things out. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.
