- Be FLEXIBLE! Anything can change and it probably will. Be STRONG. He needs to know you're okay when he walks out the door to do his job. Be YOU! You are not defined by his job. Have hobbies, interests, things you enjoy, things you work for. Then you have something to talk to your spouse about at the end of the day. It gets boring if he's the only one with a life.

Thanks! I am trying to get information for after A School. Did he have to remain at gL until he got his orders? If so, how long did it take? Was he allowed leave to go home before reporting? Also- Do you know anyone who has a Sailor that has the rank of GSE?
