My son is the youngest of 4 and the only one who made the choice to enlist. I am a therapist working in Colorado Springs with military families. I am a grandmother and most of all very proud of my son and all children for the positive choices they have made. I am a woman of prayer

Both positive and at times frustrating . My son was told one thing at MEPS and things totally changed in boot camp. I have learned to trust my son and the choices he is making.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

    I ran into Garret at FL. I know the system let him down. I am sure they will get things squared away. If it is any concellation he looks good and was in good spirits. Iam sorry that I could not do anything to help him I hope he gets home for leave. Obviously they knew he was there so he should not be charged with leave while at FL

    If Katie rec'd a jury summons here in MI, the first thing that I would do is contact the court via the # on the form (if there is one) and explain their situation.

    I remember contacting the courts when our oldest got one and was 5 hours away at college.  For here, they reassigned her over her winter break.
