If you do not know the PIR date, then join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in AugustYou will meet others with loved ones who left the same week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together.

I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there.

Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

Be sure to join your PIR group once you get The Form Letter, which now arrives 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC in most cases. Let me know when you know what division your recruit is in. I will have more info for you.

If you would like information on your recruit’s rating (job/occupational specialty) or field, then let me know the rating or field. There are groups for most specialties and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.

I received my form letter today and another short letter from my son.  He was proud of the fact that he hadn't been yelled at yet but had been on the brink of tears from exhaustion.  He asked for lots of letters.  I have already mailed of 5 letters including crossword puzzles...enough to share.   It was wonderful to hear from him.
