Good Morning!! Yes my daughter will be going on to S/A for A school, that's awesome. I wonder if they try to put them in this division because of that. There is another mom cmacdon whose daughter is also in the division and going to Corpsman school in S/A. That is great for us, because we live in Fort Worth and it's about 3.5 hrs away. I'm sure our kids are becoming a great team and building friendships to last a lifetime. That makes me happy! I am trying not to get my hopes up for a letter,but..... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting something, LOL, Hope they're hanging in there. My husband says the'yre so busy they have little time to get to distressed. He was also in the navy many years ago. Let me know if your hear anything...
Harley69, my daughter's was in same DIV as your son and is in SA, TX too! She is doing ok so far, school hasn't started, did your son's? Not sure when it will either! She didn't know they had to pay for food, did you? I guess they take 300.00 out of their pay per month. She can't wait to start, her roommate has been there a month and still hasn't started. I hope it doesn't take that long. Write when you can.
