A little about me:: My name is Angela, I am a single mom. I am a new mom to the Navy experince and I am looking forward to it. I hope to meet other moms to support them as well as I am hoping to get some support myself. I know I will need it. My son Bryce is 18. He is leaving on the 14th of November to go to the Great Lakes for Boot Camp. He can not wait. He is so excited and cannot wait to go. I am very proud of him I always have been. The closer the date comes the more real it is getting thouh, & I miss him already. I know this is a wonderful and great choice he has made for his future.

When I heard “Navy,” I...: Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...: It all is still a learning experience for my son and I. Like I said, He has not even left for boot camp. I think this Navy for moms is a great program from what my sons recruiter has told me about it. The recruiters office has been very great and helpful as well.
Our Navy experience so far...: The Navy was not the right path for my loved one/me.
