Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
My daughter also caught the flu last week and was just getting over it by Saturday when she called. She said she lost her voice for the most part, but that was okay since, most of the time they arent allowed to talk a whole lot! She said she's been doubling up on the orange juice and fruits to try to kick it. It must be going around. Its tough on a parent to know your baby is not feeling well and you cant kiss their little heads!!
