Hi!  I have had 2 messages from the Lt. Cmdr. in charge of Navy Week (9/29 - 10/2) at the Big E in Springfield.  She and her CO want to know if MA Navy Moms would like a table at the fair to advertise our group.  I'm looking for anyone who might be willing to commit to helping in some way.

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!  I'm glad you found us. Feel free to jump in and join the chat in our group - there is usually someone on every day. We are a friendly, caring group of moms who have daughters in all stages of Navy life - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! Did your daughter graduate from OCS last June?  Where is she now?  I have a daughter who should be leaving for OCS within the next few months!!  I will be looking to you for information then.  She will be my only officer child!!!!  We support all our sailor girls and each other as well.  We look forward to getting to know you and your sailor!! Again, welcome aboard!!!!

San Diego!!!  What a rough duty station!!!  Years ago I was stationed at the Naval Air Station North Island.  Ended up staying out there for 8 years.  Loved, loved, loved it!!!  Haven't been back there since 82!!  Does she work at Balboa or isn't that hospital there anymore?
