Hi tbear 48, I am new to this Navy for Moms and OCS Moms sites, but just saw your post about your son being in 02-11 and his father being on the Navy Dads site. My son is also in class 02-11 and my husband is on the Navy Dads site as well. I am just learning my way around the site (the only things I do on the computer are email and ordering stuff online). I'm probably the only one in my family not on Facebook....yet. Just feeling a bit overwhelmed when reading all the stuff that our guys are going thru. And praying they can all get thru all the stuff they are throwing at them. I appreciate all the comments and info available on these sites for us - very informative. Looking forward to meeting the moms and dads at the graduation ceremony. Can't come soon enough!
Hi tbear48, we do have a lot in common! (my hubby also disagrees on who is really the pack leader - I may be alpha to "the girls" - Heidi and Abby - but he says he is "alpha's alpha"). My son, who is in OCS, is married to his college sweetheart and my daughter and son in law are the ones with the two kiddos ages 5 and 7. I'm sure our hubbies have chatted on Navy Dads. Mine is just under his name on the website, Mike A. Maybe we can learn to navigate this website before our sons graduate and move on with their careers!
Hi tbear48, We don't know how all that works either, and didn't think they had access to cell phones at this point. Our best course is just to continue in prayer for our sons and the whole class. And hold on to the "no news is good news" way of thinking....
