- My 22 year old daughter is a Seabee and is at base in CA after returning late last year from her first deployment in Afghanistan. She is expecting a baby in June and is active duty. (Yes, more to this story. Let just say I'm glad she is back in US and safe.) I'm excited for the first grandchild!
My 19 year old son is in Air Force tech school and soon to be stationed in Italy. On top of that he and his girlfriend had a private ceremony and got married recently. This last year I moved back to Iowa from Oregon after leaving for college 33 years ago. My parents are happy to have me back in the state. I grew up in Slater (near Ames) and now live in Coralville. - I am here to support my
