Hello!! I know this is terribly late but I want to welcome you to Navy4Moms and to the Moms of Daughters 2 group!! I haven't been as active lately as there have been several things going on with my family this fall and winter. But I see you have made some contacts on the website and I am grateful for that. I loved reading your profile as I am also a Navy vet! I was stationed in San Diego and for awhile lived in Chula Vista. I love San Diego and it will always hold a fondness in my heart. I wasn't able to advance as much as our women sailors can today. I served during a time when women were not allowed to serve on ships and it was very difficult to advance if you were in a seaduty rating with no opportunity to go to sea!!! However my middle son was a chief and just recently commissioned as a chief warrant officer 2. My oldest daughter is a LT and recently transferred from NFO to Aerospace Experimental Psychology. Her twin sister is also a Navy vet as is my husband. We are a Navy Family!!!
