    We sent our son his computer when got settled at Ft Houston. He used it during EMT training, not so much during nursing. Dental Assistant is an additional 6 weeks after corpsman school.

    He just got his orders. He'll go to FMTB at Camp LeJeune and then be stationed at Parris Island South Carolina.

    EMT is part of corpsman A school. They have to pass everything. If they don't pass they do it again until they do. It's hard, but if he studies, he'll do fine. EMT is the most difficult. Then comes nursing, which isn't as hard.

    FMTB is field medical training. That's with the Marines. He will learn how to do field medicine.

    I don't know how many days. I think corpsman school is about 14 weeks and dental 6 weeks.
