You wait and you wait and you learn as you go. Emotions run deep when you don't hear from you son for months at a time because he is on sub. You worry but so proud of the man that he has become and you just trust in God to keep him safe, and you wait until the day you get the phone call saying I am back.....then you cry tears of joy,
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

    Wanted to leave you a private message...hope you get it. My son is also on the USS Maryland .  the boat went back out the other day.  You can probably can email him on the boat. They will probably be back in port sometime the beginning of June or the end of May.

    Hope this make s you feel a little better.
