Since your future Sailor has a contract for Hospital Corpsman (HM), HM (Hospital Corpsman) A School in San Antonio will have the mot information for you whhile he is in "A" School and oter groups are listed on the main page of that group. You will also want to check out Basic Medical Technician Corpsman Program Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for HM can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/hm.pdf; it indicates 19 weeks, but "A" School is 14 weeks after classing up. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Hey! my boyfriend doesn't leave for RTC until April too! I felt a little silly trying to talk to people and join this website months before he leaves but I really want to make friends and have someone to talk to about everything that is soon to happen:)

Make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Since you have an SR at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted."
