Im a 44 yo Mom to a wonderful Son that I adore. I am a sign language interpreter by trade but unemployed right now due to the bad economy. I joined this site in hopes to chat with others who are going through the seperation of their Son or Daughter.. I;m kind and gentle. I have a big heart, literally!! lol.

    Welcome aboard!  Loved visiting your town while my sailor was @ Goose Creek and my niece was at College of Charleston.

    Have you heard from him...He needs to have you on the list for graduation, in order for you to get on base for it...Grad is in the morning...Each sailor is limited to 4 guests and depending on the size of the recruit class, more or less may be admitted.

    Look into the boot camp groups...and look for PIR for the 17th...You will both need photo id's (driver's license, proof of identity)

    The PIR is a fabulous ceremony.
