When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
To make sure the moments with my military children count as I see them so infrequently now. Never take the time with them for granted. (As parents we should do this anyway). The Navy has taught me to trust in my child's ability to take care of herself. Seeing her become more confident and self-reliant has given me greater peace of mind knowing she is quite capable of accomplishing anything she sets her mind to.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi.  My son arrived in Monteray.  He is so excited- I just talked to him a few hours ago. I told him that I would be in contact with you and perhaps our kids could meet sometime.  He said he is in a temporary holding room for two weeks and will then be assigned a room.  He does not start his language training until September.  Have you or are you planning to visit Monteray?  We are planing to visit in September.
