- I am the Mother of 2 boys, ages 21 & 24. I am also a guidance counselor. My 24-yr-old is assigned to Mayport, FL. He's a DC. We drove to PIR. What a journey that was! PIR day was the happiest day of my life! It was joyful to see my sailor & his transformation. Since then, he has been deployed once & promoted to DC3! I have 21-yr-old son as well.

- The high school recruiter I worked with was extremely well-liked at our school. The seniors I knew who came back to visit once in the Navy were very happy. The Navy keeps you informed and looks after their own.
