Hey!!!  Well received a call from my son on Tuesday he is not doing very well, not eating like he used to, not sleeping, having panic attacks which makes it hard for him to breathe, and having a difficult time. I also received his box on Tuesday, which was difficult for me as well.  He said the first two days they kept them up straight.  He met with psychiatrist on Wednesday they said to give it two more weeks and see how he is doing then.  They also allowed him to call on Wednesday night to see if it would help calm him down.  I was not here but my husband was to answer his call. He is still having a rough time.  He did say he met one guy that talks to him that is from Texas.  I received his address and form letter and sent letters out.  he said it would be two more weeks before he can get them.  We did not hear from him last night, might heart aches wondering how he is doing.

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Since you have a Recruit at the RTC, you should change "In the NROTC program" above to "Enlisted" because NROTC refers to the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, a college scholarship program. You aren't the first person to make that mistake and you won't be the last. You may want to make changes 3 and 4.within OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile).
