I grew up with a navy lifer for a dad,as well as quite literally every male family member having been navy as well. Being the first female in 5 generations of the Rendelman family, I was forbidden from duty. So I cheated, studied for my LPN through the AF and Navy and worked with vets. Now that I'm disabled thanks to a drunk driver, I spend alot of time worrying about my only son.

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
