Hi Nina my name is Connie I saw your post about crying after you got off the phone with your son after he arrived at boot camp honestly I done the same thing.  Last night my 11 yr old and I got ready to sit down to eat dinner and it was very hard looking across the table and him not being there.  This is a little tougher on me than I thought it would be but I'm glad to be able to talk to other moms who are going through the same feelings as me.

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)

Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
