Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I truthfully believe the opportunities that can be had way out way what they can gain in civilian life. When I see crime and violence on the streets when I see kids not even graduating yet alone going to college, then we should be so proud and greatful. They are being well fed and cared for and can't steer far wrong.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

We are definitely going to graduation. I will let you know where we will be staying. We will be going to the meet and greet. Will you be going to graduation? It is very hard to raise your kids and be involved in every aspect of their life and then just send them off with strangers (even if it is the US Navy) and not talk to them or see them every day. Our other son is in the AIr Force and he just graduated from basic training in June. That was brutal too. I know we raised them to be able to go out on their own, but boy is it hard Lol
