- I'm a wife of a new sailor. I'm patiently awaiting his return from Pensacola Florida where he is attending A-School. We will be relocating from Indiana to NAS Lemoore California. I've never had to be away from him in the six years we've been together. It's rough, but I'm adjusting.

Hi, Amelia, and welcome to Indiana Moms! I'm the administrator for the group, so if you have any questions, please ask. My son is a Nuke MM serving on the submarine USS Alabama, based out of Bangor, WA. He's been in for 4 years.
If you're near willling to drive, there's a monthly informal dinner on the west side of town, in Avon. You can find any month's dinner details by clicking on the 3rd Monday of the Event calendar (right-hand column). We'd love you to join us - and you're welcome to bring family or friends! From time to time, we also have regional gatherings in various parts of the state. Be sure to put Aug 13-22 on your calendar, as it's Indiana Navy Week at the State Fair in Indy!
