A little about me:
My husband left for boot camp on March 12, 2013- two days after our first anniversary. In the past months he had to lose almost 30 pounds in order to qualify, and he's done it and is so excited to be a part of the Navy. I didn't know being away from him would be this hard but I'm so proud of all he's done to get here. His job in Aircrew. I am a PROUD WIFE!

I got my phone call and I have to admit I feel much better about him being there,

He said it is stressful but he is really glad he did it.  I am so excited about PIR.

Are you going to be able to make it?

  • Recruit Man - Ronny

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com. My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012. He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron. He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic. I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask. My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp. I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)

Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
