Hi, boot camp is 7 to 10 weeks--the average is 8 1/2 weeks. Arrival and What Happensat the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what happens at the RTC. She will go to MEPS the first time and if everything is set, she will sign a contract for a particular rating or for the PACT program and then get a ship date for going to the RTC based on that and will be accepted into DEP for up to a year. Once BC is over, she will go to "A" School for that rating or training if her contract is for the PACT program. When Will the Recruits be Paid? and Information for Spouses will explain about pay.
