A little about me:: I am a new Navy mom. I work full time at Hunterdon Medical Center as an Outpatient Accounts Representative (medical billing). I also have several hobbies (Working out at the gym, reading and I build wooden doll houses. I also love interior decorating.

When I heard “Navy,” I...: Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...: I really don't have any experience of the Navy but my father-in-law was drafted into the navy years ago and my son always wanted to join to be like his grandfather and to serve his country. I am very proud of him.
Our Navy experience so far...: It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Glad to hear your eyes are doing better, make sure you take those breaks and give yourself time to heal. The knee is doing ok, the weekend in GL was a little rough on it. No PT! PIR left me speechless. What a beautiful ceremony. Takes your breath away. Yes, we had him for the whole weekend but it went way too fast. He hasn't started school yet. I think he said he starts on Aug. 16. He's getting settled into his ship and luckily 2 of his roommates were friends of his from his division. Thanks for keeping me updated and I hope you get plenty of time with your son at Christmas!!!
